Israel is a small country with less than ten million populations. Lack of natural resources, surrounded by strong enemies, Israel is under flames of war all the time. However, it has become the world’s second largest center of innovation behind Silicon Valley in the past three decades. What’s the secret of talent development system in Israel? In this series, we interviewed four Israeli innovators: Nechemia Peres, founder of venture capital company Pitango; Amnon Shashua, CEO of self-driving car and system company Mobileye; Issac Ben-Israel, former director of R&D department in Ministry of Defense; and Yaron Daniely, CEO of Yissum, the technology transfer company of Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
