握手——汪辜會談30周年回顧

2023年是汪辜會談30周年。1993年4月27日至29日在新加坡舉行的汪辜會談，是1949年後，兩岸首次以受權民間團體名義舉行的高層會談，標誌著兩岸關係邁出歷史性的重要一步。為記錄這一重要歷史時刻，攝製隊赴兩岸及新加坡實地拍攝，記錄多位親歷者珍貴口述，梳理汪辜會談緣起始末，解密三十年前兩岸破冰歷程。

The year 2023 marks the 30th anniversary of the Wang-Koo summit between Taiwan and mainland China. In April 1993, the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS) and the Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) held a historic meeting in Singapore. It was the first officially authorized meeting between these civil organizations since 1949. Four agreements were signed during the meeting, which set the stage for the following three decades of cross-strait relations. Our crew traveled to Taiwan, mainland China, and Singapore to shoot on-site footage commemorating this significant historical moment. They interviewed participants, witnesses, and individuals with firsthand knowledge of the events. Through its oral accounts and archival footage, the film presents the entire process of preparation and conduct of the Wang-Koo summit, shedding light on commonly overlooked historical details of cross-strait exchanges.
