創校111周年，香港大學作為香港歷史最悠久的高等教育院校，與香港一同經歷了血與火、淪陷與光復、迭代與興盛；從港大走出來的一代代學子，更親身見證近現代中國每個關鍵歷史時期的苦難、拼搏和希望。港大還將面臨多少可能性？透視港大走過的111年風雨歲月，可以如何讀懂近現代的中國，乃至世界？

As the oldest institution of higher education in Hong Kong, the University of Hong Kong has experienced blood and fire, fall and recovery, iteration and prosperity together with Hong Kong. The generations of students who have come out of HKU have witnessed the suffering, struggle and hope of each critical period in modern China's history. How many more possibilities will the University face? How can we understand modern China and the world through the 111 years of its history?
