2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the Handover of Hong Kong, and nearly 1,000 artefacts have been selected by the Palace Museum in Beijing for display at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The exhibits are very diverse, with seven different thematic exhibitions on painting and calligraphy, ceremonial music and more. The second exhibition hall at the Hong Kong Palace shows the noble dwelling place of supreme imperial power as described in "One Forbidden City, Two Generations of Emperors". The painting and calligraphy gallery in the Jin, Tang, Song and Yuan dynasties showcases 35 pieces of first-class calligraphies and paintings, in which not only the elegant lines and delicate colors of the brush and ink, but also the heart of the literati and their understanding of the nature of heaven and earth, are displayed. This series takes visitors between Beijing and Hong Kong, showcasing the unique charm and cultural connotations of the nation's treasures.
