As early as the 1970s, China has already sent the first medical teams to South Africa. Today, the Omdurman Friendship Hospital, where Chinese doctors are stationed, has become an indispensable part of local people's lives. Due to the pandemic, medical systems around the world have been experienced a great deal of testing. Africa, a land with an already fragile health care system naturally, has been fighting actively against the pandemic with some extravagance. This documentary shows the work and living conditions of Chinese medical teams through the perspectives of three countries, namely Sudan, Malawi and Tanzania, and explores the changes brought by medical teams to African countries.
