John Hopcroft is a renowned professor of computer science. In 1986, he won the Turing Award, known as the Nobel Prize in computer science. Since the 1960s, John worked at Princeton University and Cornell University in the United States. Many of his students have been elected as academicians in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and other countries. Three of them, like Hopcroft, won the Turing Award. In the past ten years, he came to China and joined a number of universities dedicated to constructing China's computer disciplines and personnel training. He said what he wanted to do was to improve education.
