歷史記得光榮的海員－香港海員工會百年紀事

香港海員工會成立於1921年3月6日，在百年內見證香港海員的苦難與光榮，一直保存著愛國愛港的優良傳統。作為香港航運界的一個重要組織，經歷香港航運業的幾次低沉與復甦，一直擔當香港海員的後盾。同時，工會在中國人民抗擊外來侵略史中寫下厚重的一頁，也是中國工人運動史的先驅，對中國革命作出了重大的貢獻。本節目回顧香港海員工會乘風破浪的百年，探討工會在時代潮流中的歷史和現實意義。

Hong Kong Seamen's Union, established on 6 March, 1921, has witnessed the pain and glory of Hong Kong's seamen in a century. It has always maintained an outstanding tradition of patriotism. As a prominent organization in Hong Kong's shipping industry, it has acted as a backup for Hong Kong's seamen in times of turmoil. The Union also helped the war against invasion of China, led in Chinese labour movement and contributed heavily to the Chinese Revolution. This programme reviews the century of Hong Kong Seamen's Union and discusses the history and significance of the Union in current times.
