Due to the global spread of Coronavirus, face masks are sold out all over the world. As a big manufacturing nation, China produces around 50 percent of face masks globally. Even after China’s full recovery in production, masks are still in short supply. In this program, we discuss the issues arising from face masks through the perspectives of history, industry standard, raw materials, production process as well as substitutions, showing the whole supply and demand chain of the face mask.
