Deep in the remote mountains, a young lady leaves her job in the city to help the cave-dwelling children living a primitive life at Guiyang City in southwest part of China. She volunteers to be a schoolteacher at the only school in the area for some children of China’s Miao ethnic minority. An inspiring story of selfless sacrifice and dedication to a higher ideal, she lives in the cave with them, enduring the same hardships, to bring a glimmer of hope and knowledge to young lives cut-off from the modern world.
