Introduction
Two great rising culture of our contemporary society, Chinese and Muslim, are currently at odds over a highly controversial subject: PIGS. The fatty livestock is now one hot potato symbol of contradictions.
A group of Chinese who make their living in the pig business confronts Muslims who are forbidden to eat pork; Chinese Muslims are often caught in the crossfire. The stage is set in Malaysia, home to 12 million Muslims and 6 million Chinese. This conflict is only the tip of the iceberg. More confrontations are embedded. What is the solution to this deep-rooted ethnic dilemma? Mutual respect, forgiveness and love?
