來至中國大江南北的民間廚藝高手,需在限時內製作自選菜式。上至宮廷料理,下至家常小菜,比廚藝、鬥巧手。以味道打動評委,以實力當選「擂主」!



比賽以打擂臺形式進行,要成為候選「擂主」,必須先通過評委「盲品」環節。不見廚師、不見食材,真正單憑味道比拼。評委團由頂級廚師劉一帆、知名美食家蔡瀾、香港「食神」戴龍、時尚饕客兼主持人李輝組成。一針見血的點評、由味道帶出的回憶和哲理、難得一見的極品菜餚,帶出一個個令人動容的人生故事!



<b>評委團簡介:</b>



<b>蔡瀾</b>

美食家的形象深入民心,對美食有非一般的要求。他崇尚簡單純粹的生活,一碗白飯香已讓他甘之如飴。他更將人生比喻為菜籃子,如收天下之百味。

 

<b>戴龍</b>

香港「食神」。1973年以年僅22之齡擔上印尼萬隆五星級酒店中餐總廚。獨創的菜式不計其數,為香港四大名廚之一。



<b>劉一帆</b>

來自台灣的資深廚師,現任費爾蒙國際酒店集團品牌形象大使兼和平飯店行政總廚。因為對食材要求苛刻,他被人們稱為「地獄廚神」。



<b>李輝</b>

鳳凰衛視知名主持人,她所主持的《完全時尚手冊》是泛亞洲地區最長壽的生活時尚類節目。周遊列國、嘗盡美食的她對食物有一番獨特見解。



A real battlefield for Chinese chefs. No matter where you come from, what ingredients you use and what dishes you cook, the participants all have a chance to be honoured as the “Master Chef”. Phoenix presents the very first reality TV cooking show - Battle for Taste, which takes you to the battlefield of the cook.



Whether it is exquisite haute cuisine or home-style cooking, all the participants have to present their best cookery and the most pleasant flavour within limited time. The chefs won’t have a chance to meet the judges unless their dishes are qualified and passed the blind testing. The reality cooking programme delivers the most sincere review on food and initiates a culinary war.



<b>Introduction of the judges:</b>

 

<b>Chua Lam</b>

He is a Hong Kong Food Critic and has an unique interpretation of delicacy. His philosophy of “less is more” is manifested in his simple but abundant life.

 

<b>Dai Lung</b>

The “God of Cookery” in Hong Kong. In 1973, the then 22-year-old cooking genius was already the Executive Chinese Chef of a 5-star restaurant in Indonesia. His creativity and originality in cookery awarded him as one of the Top Chef in Hong Kong.



 <b>Steven Liu</b>

A Taiwanese experienced chef. He is currently the Ambassador of Chinese cuisine for the hotel chain of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts and Executive Chef of Fairmont Peace Hotel. His strictness on the quality of food credited him as “The Chef from Hell“.



<b>Li Hui</b>

The host of the TV programme “Trendy Guide” - a pioneering and timeless lifestyle programme in Asia. She loves to travel and has tasted cuisines from all over the world. With enriched knowledge of dishes, she has a unique view to the tastes of food.
