一個世紀前，袁氏家族因袁世凱的崛起成爲了民國第一政治家族，而在袁世凱退位後，命運逆轉，曾經顯赫的家族遭遇動盪與劫難，生活每況愈下。如今，歷經那段灰暗的歲月，袁家人逐漸走出了歷史賦予他們的身份，恢復了普通人的生活。節目訪問袁氏後代及著名学者，帶您走進一個世紀以來的家族動盪，揭開鮮為人知的隱秘故事，講述家族內的愛恨情仇。

A century ago, Yuan family became the top political family because of the rising of Yuan Shikai. However, their destiny has reversed after the abdication of Yuan. They have suffered from different tragedies, and their life was hopeless at a certain time. After been through those dark years, the family have gradually eased their identity that given by history, and live an ordinary life nowadays. In this program, we interview some of the family members as well as a couple of prestige scholars, to reveal the fate of Yuan family in the past hundred years, explore their unknown stories and complex sentiments.
