隨著時代發展，移民已成為公眾日常生活的話題，成為普通人的一種生活選擇。《逐夢彼岸——中國新移民》是目前唯一一部真實全面紀錄新時代中國移民生存狀態的紀錄片，共製作12集，填補了紀錄片界的空白。攝製組分赴美國、英國、西班牙、意大利、新西蘭等國家，深度採訪拍攝了近40位新移民的故事，包括科技人才、行業翹楚、商人、「富二代」，政客等。主題涵蓋留學陪讀、華人社團、赴美生子、華人政客、房產置業、海外生意等，全景展現中國移民海外生活的圖景，真實客觀地紀錄新移民的生活狀態和內心世界。經歷了前三次移民浪潮的時代變遷，文化全球化、經濟一體化、世界成為了一個整體的地球村。當第四次移民浪潮即將開啟，新一代移民群體在關注什麼，在追逐什麼？節目將聚焦全球華人真實故事，給出答案。

With the passage of time, immigration has become a popular topic and a choice for ordinary people. "Chinese New Migrants: Chasing Dreams Abroad" provides the comprehensive record of the living state of Chinese migrants in the new era. The documentary contains 12 episodes, perfectly filling the vacancies in current market. Our crew went to the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, New Zealand and other countries, conducted in-depth interviews with nearly 40 new immigrants. The interviewees include science and technology talents, industry leaders, businessmen, "the second generation of the rich", politicians, etc. The theme for each episode varies, including accompany children abroad, the Chinese community, born in the United States, Chinese politicians, real estate in the United States, develop overseas business and so on. The program shares a panoramic picture of Chinese migrants. It is an objective record of the new immigrant's life and thoughts. Experienced the first three times of migration changes, which refer to cultural globalization, economic integration, and the world has become a global village.
