A unique beauty pageant was held in a stadium in Hong Kong. The well-dressed ladies on the stage were all Filipino foreign domestic helpers employed in Hong Kong. These "Filipino Maids" are responsible for taking care of their employers’ daily life and doing all housework, while being alone in a foreign place away from their families. The gorgeous pageant stage is a rare moment for these Filipino helpers, who live as the lowest social class, to turn into a “Queen”. Why did they choose to become a maid in Hong Kong? What have they been through individually off the stage? In this programme, three representative figures were interviewed for their feelings of lacking choices and hopes for the future.

Ten Years after the Earthquake – Wenchuan, Are You Alright? (5 x 30', 2018)
When Wenchuan Earthquake took place, we reported on the spot following the rescue team. Ten years later, we revisit the county. Reporter takes us to the Beichuan Middle School, the Memorial Cemetery and the homes of the victims and survivors, meeting familiar faces.We see how the survivors try to rebuild their life,with emotional wounds that may still hurt, as the county is being rebuilt in the past decade.
Monk Dad (30', 2018)
In the past 6 years, Buddhist monkDaolu had helped over200 single mothers to give birth totheir babiesby providing mental and pecuniary support. Some of the mothers even left their babies to Daolu.So Daolu became the “Monk Dad”. He is always surrounded by children and women, which is unusual to a monk. In the programme, Daoluexplains why he devotes himself the way it is.
A Motorcycle Crash(30', 2018)
Zhang Yonghuanclashed with another motorcyclist and fled from the scene on his motorcycle. Witnessing the accident, Zhu Zhenbiao on his car chased Zhang to urge him to take responsibility. After a long pursuit, Zhang ran on foot to a railway track and was hit and killed by a train. Zhang’s family sued Zhu to claim six hundred thousand Yuan. The case became a subject matter of public debate. Is chasing a hit-and-run driver the right thing to do for a citizen? In the meantime, the other motorcyclist who was injured in the first accident brought the case to court, asking Zhang’s family for compensation.
